Job summary

Anduril Imaging is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to design a new product line and lead FPGA and HDL development. You will collaborate with electrical, software, and systems engineers to define, prototype, and mature designs through ground and flight testing, driving robust hardware/software integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is typically required.
• 10+ years of experience developing HDL firmware for FPGA devices.
• Expertise in VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog is essential for RTL design.
• Experience with FPGA tools such as Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus.
• Strong hardware/software debugging skills using standard lab equipment.
• Proficiency with Git for collaborative development.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA architecture, standards, development and review processes.
• Design, architect, simulate, and integrate VHDL designs into FPGAs or System on Chip for optimized performance.
• Hardware/Software Integration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure firmware integration.
• Develop robust test benches in VHDL/Verilog and use lab tools for rigorous testing and validation.
• Optimize algorithms for hardware acceleration and AXI/AXI-Stream bus utilization
