Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to design new FPGA-based product lines. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to define, prototype, test, and mature hardware-software solutions for ground and flight systems.

Lead FPGA architecture, develop VHDL/Verilog RTL, validate with test benches, and optimize for performance and power using AXI-Stream. Collaborate across hardware and software to bring robust products to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required.
• 10+ years HDL firmware development experience for FPGA devices.
• Expert in VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog for RTL design.

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA architecture, standards, development and review processes.
• FPGA Development: Designing, architecting, simulating, and integrating VHDL designs into FPGAs or SoC for optimized performance, resource utilization, and power efficiency.
• Hardware/Software Integration: Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of the firmware with the overall system, including processor bring-up and BSPs.
• Testing and Validation: Developing robust test benches in VHDL/Verilog and utilizing lab tools for rigorous testing and validation against specs.
• Optimization: Optimizing the algorithms for hardware acceleration, including MIPS optimization and AXI/AXI-Stream.
