Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer for the Imaging team to design new product lines. You’ll work with a cross-disciplinary group to define, build, test, and mature prototypes into deployable hardware and software.

The role emphasizes FPGA architecture, RTL design with VHDL/Verilog, and hardware/software integration, including SoC bring-up and BSP development. A U.S. Secret clearance is required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of HDL firmware development for FPGA devices.
• Expertise in VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog for RTL design.
• Experience with Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus tools.
• Strong debugging using standard lab equipment.
• Proficiency with Git for collaborative development.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA architecture, standards, development and review processes.
• Develop, simulate, and integrate VHDL/Verilog designs for FPGA/SoC targets.
• Collaborate with hardware, software and systems engineers for firmware integration.
• Create robust test benches using VHDL/Verilog and lab instrumentation.
• Optimize for hardware acceleration and AXI/AXI-Stream protocols.
