Job summary

CesiumAstro in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to lead FPGA circuits through all development stages for space-grade hardware. You will handle HDL design, verification, test, and deployment for high-speed interfaces and data streams.

The ideal candidate holds a BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 5 years of FPGA HDL experience (Verilog/VHDL, Vivado, Modelsim) and strong communication skills; aerospace experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5 years of FPGA HDL design, analysis, and implementation experience.
• Expertise in FPGA design and verification (Verilog/VHDL, Vivado, Modelsim).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Present engineering design review materials to customers and executives.
• Participate in proposal-writing efforts.
• Develop FPGA hardware through all development phases, including testing and verification.
• Work with high-speed interfaces, data streams, and clock domain management.
