Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineering Contractor to join our ART Microelectronics Technology team in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will design, implement, verify, and integrate high-performance FPGAs for defense solutions, working within Agile teams and using industry-standard toolchains.

You will be responsible for requirements, design and verification, integration on target hardware, peer reviews, and contributing to certification activities, with a focus on quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM and 5+ years FPGA experience (or Advanced Degree with 3+ years).
• 3+ years professional FPGA/ASIC front-end experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implementation, and verification of FPGA solutions.
• Integration of FPGA on target hardware units.
• Support peer reviews and certification analyses.
• Peer reviewing FPGA development artifacts.
• Manage changes and tasks via Jira.
• Participate in Agile team meetings and planning.
