Job summary

MSR Technology Group seeks an experienced Senior FPGA Verification Engineer for a 6+ month contract in Cedar Rapids, IA. The ideal candidate will lead DO-254 DAL A verification efforts, develop comprehensive test procedures, and document results.

You will review verification plans, create test cases, perform lab testing, maintain requirements traceability, and collaborate with engineering to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven FPGA verification and DO-254 compliance experience, preferably at DAL A.
• Experience developing FPGA test plans, procedures, test cases, and test reports.
• Strong knowledge of VHDL or Verilog and RTL verification.
• Experience with FPGA simulation and synthesis tools (ModelSim, Synplify, Quartus, Vivado).
• Familiarity with DOORS, requirements traceability, and verification documentation.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-516C certification guidance is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, with at least 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Review FPGA verification and test plans for DO-254 DAL A compliance.
• Develop and document detailed test procedures and test cases.
• Perform FPGA testing in a laboratory environment and prepare test reports.
• Maintain requirements traceability and verification documentation.
• Support FPGA verification, validation, and certification activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to meet rigorous safety and quality standards.
