Job summary

Innova Solutions, via a client, is seeking an experienced FPGA Digital Design Engineer to develop firmware for airborne telemetry, RF, and secure communications. The role involves translating system requirements into FPGA architectures and delivering VHDL implementations for ruggedized embedded hardware.

You will work with RF, systems, electrical and software teams, perform simulations, tests, and production-readiness activities, and support qualification and environmental testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum six years of relevant engineering experience or equivalent.
• Experience with VHDL development and FPGA toolchains required.

Responsibilities

• Translate system and circuit-card requirements into FPGA requirements and architectures.
• Implement FPGA designs in VHDL with proper synthesis and timing closure.
• Verify FPGA functionality via simulation and test on targeted hardware.
