Job summary

Radiation Test Solutions (RTS) in Colorado Springs seeks a Senior FPGA Design Lead to establish and lead our internal FPGA capability. You will own architecture, design implementation, verification, and technical leadership across multiple programs in aerospace, defense, and high-reliability electronics.

You will mentor engineers, define development methodologies, and guide FPGA-based solutions from concept through deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Requires senior FPGA design experience in aerospace/defense.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Experience with VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog and verification.

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA architecture, design, verification, and integration across programs.
• Establish and maintain FPGA development processes, standards, and design reviews.
• Define FPGA roadmaps and select device families, tools, and methodologies.
• Provide technical leadership for customer projects and internal R&D.
• Support proposal development and technical planning activities.
