Job summary

Radiation Test Solutions, Inc. in Colorado Springs is seeking a motivated FPGA Design Engineer to support the development and verification of FPGA-based systems for aerospace, defense, and advanced electronics applications.

Working under guidance of senior engineers, you will participate in FPGA design, simulation, verification, hardware integration, and testing, building the skills to become an independent FPGA designer.

Responsibilities

• FPGA design and verification using VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog.
• Create simulation environments, testbenches, and verification plans.
• Perform timing analysis, resource optimization, and design closure activities.
• Interface with embedded processors, high-speed serial links, memory devices, communication protocols, and mixed-signal systems.
• Support board bring-up, debugging, and laboratory validation activities.
• Collaborate with RTS radiation effects engineers during test planning and data interpretation.
• Participate in customer technical reviews and coordinate with FPGA manufacturers and development partners.
