Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of FPGA design experience.
• U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test FPGA-based digital systems for aerospace and defense applications.
• Develop, modify, and maintain FPGA firmware using Verilog and VHDL.
• Create and execute simulation and verification test benches to validate FPGA designs.
• Perform FPGA synthesis, timing analysis, debugging, and optimization.
• Integrate FPGA firmware with hardware components, embedded processors, and software applications.
• Design and implement communication interfaces and protocols (RS-232, RS-422, UART, SPI, I2C).
• Utilize FPGA development and verification tools (Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, ModelSim, Verdi).
• Support laboratory integration, hardware bring-up, system verification, and troubleshooting.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to design documentation.
