Job summary

SimTech, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks an RF Engineer, Senior to design, develop, integrate, test, and evaluate advanced RF and microwave systems for sensor, seeker, and signal generation applications.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 8+ years in RF, and U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret clearance. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, perform lab and field tests, and contribute to system optimization and reliability, with growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
At least 8 years in RF, microwave, radar, or related RF engineering.
Deep knowledge of RF/microwave theory, components, and system architectures.
Experience designing and testing RF/microwave systems and hardware.
Proficiency with RF lab testing and measurements.
Experience with RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
Ability to interpret data and develop engineering solutions.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and evaluate RF/microwave systems and hardware.
Characterize RF signal generation systems for aerospace, defense, and sensor applications.
Perform RF system analysis, modeling, prototyping, integration, and testing.
Develop RF hardware including transmitters, receivers, filters, and antennas.
Conduct lab and field testing to verify performance.
Utilize RF test equipment and perform antenna/system characterization in anechoic chambers.
Prepare technical reports, test plans, and customer presentations.
Support system integration with multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain compliance with standards and security protocols.
