Job summary

SimTech, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking an experienced RF Engineer, Mid-Level to design, develop, integrate, test and evaluate advanced RF and microwave systems for sensor and seeker applications.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust hardware solutions. The ideal candidate has a solid background in RF/microwave theory, hands-on testing with VNAs and spectrum analyzers, and a track record of defining performance requirements, debugging, and improving system reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years in RF, microwave, radar, or related engineering domains.
• Strong knowledge of RF/microwave theory, components, and system architectures.
• Experience designing and testing RF/microwave hardware and systems.
• Proficient with RF test equipment including VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and related instrumentation.
• Ability to analyze gain, return loss, noise figure, and frequency response; interpret drawings and test results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently and in teams.
• U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integration, testing, and evaluation of RF/microwave systems for sensor and seeker applications.
• Characterize RF signal generation systems and RF/microwave hardware components.
• Perform RF system analysis, modeling, prototyping, and testing through product lifecycle.
• Prepare technical reports, procedures, and design documentation; participate in design reviews.
• Support system integration activities and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist customer demonstrations and field test events as needed.
