Quantinuum, a leading quantum computing company, is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer in the Broomfield, CO area. You will lead FPGA design and verification for our Apollo quantum computer, interfacing with DACs/ADCs, DDRx memory, and digital control loops in a fast-paced team setting.

The role emphasizes SystemVerilog proficiency, simulation, synthesis, and lab work, with potential for up to 2 remote days per week with approval. Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in engineering required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in an engineering/R&D environment.
• 5+ years developing FPGA designs.
• 2+ years in a lab environment.
• U.S. Person status required.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement FPGA-based control systems for quantum computers.
• Perform FPGA design, simulation, and verification.
• Understand multi-signal control loops across digital, analog, and RF domains.
• Collaborate with PCB, software, and mechanical teams.
• Drive program goals in an R&D setting.
