Quantinuum, a leading quantum computing company, is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer in the Broomfield, CO area. You will lead FPGA design and verification for our Apollo quantum computer, interfacing with DACs/ADCs, DDRx memory, and digital control loops in a fast-paced team setting.
The role emphasizes SystemVerilog proficiency, simulation, synthesis, and lab work, with potential for up to 2 remote days per week with approval. Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in engineering required.
We are seeking an FPGA Design Engineer inour Broomfield, CO, Location.
In this role, you will lead the development of FPGA designs for our Apollo quantum computer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FPGA development with expertise in System Verilog, simulation, synthesis, placing, and routing designs. The individual in this role will be primarily focused on the core digital control system, which facilitates the precise coordination of a large amount of electronics required to operate our quantum computers. Projects may include interfacing with DACs/ADCs and DDRx memory, digital filtering and signal processing, digital control loops, and data formatting. Candidates should expect to be immersed in a fast-paced, multi-functional team-based environment with challenging technical obstacles to overcome where an individual with talent and initiative can stand out and thrive.

$135,000 - $181,000 a year
The pay range for this role is $135,000– $181,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate’s skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
