Collins Aerospace in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Principal Electrical or Computer Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and verification of advanced testbenches for high-performance digital ASICs and FPGAs.

You will drive signal processing and information assurance technologies for Mission Systems, providing technical leadership to verification teams and contributing to program estimates as part of the Microelectronics Technology team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience or 5+ with an advanced degree in STEM.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
• Experience developing/simulating RTL in FPGA/ASIC environments (VHDL/Verilog).
• 4+ years in RTL verification methodologies (C/E).
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers within a team.
• Proven ability to design/execute verification testbenches for RTL blocks (VHDL/SystemVerilog).
• Experience with revision control systems (Git/Subversion).

Responsibilities

• Architect verification environments and designs using SystemVerilog (OVM/UVM).
• Create test plans, testcases, code coverage, and functional coverage.
• Develop testbenches for RTL blocks using VHDL or SystemVerilog.
• Suggest tools/practices to improve ASIC/FPGA verification flow.
• Contribute to engineering estimates for new programs.
• Provide technical leadership to project verification teams.
