Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer in Cedar Rapids, IA to design and implement high-performance digital ASICs and FPGAs. Responsibilities include architectural design, verification, and providing technical leadership within project teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience or minimum 3 years with advanced degree.
• Active U.S. government issued security clearance required.
• Experience in timing analysis and timing closure.
• Familiarity with best-practice chip-level verification techniques.

Responsibilities

• Identify requirement capture and ASIC/FPGA design using RTL.
• Recommend tools for continuous improvement in design flow.
• Provide technical leadership for project design teams.

Skills

RTL coding and simulation in Verilog or VHDL

Digital circuit architecture and design

Testbench development using System Verilog

Using ASIC and/or FPGA simulation and synthesis tools

Revision control concepts and tools
