Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with 8+ years experience or advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret DoD security clearance is required.
• Strong modeling & simulation skills using Simulink/MATLAB.
• Proficiency in VHDL/Verilog for FPGA/ASIC design and implementation.
• Experience with DSP algorithms for signal processing (filtering, modulation).
• Familiarity with FPGA platforms and toolchains (Xilinx/AMD, Intel/Altera; Vivado, Quartus).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement signal processing algorithms for FPGA/ASIC-based systems.
• Model and simulate DSP workflows using Simulink.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and validate DSP algorithms.
• Optimize FPGA implementations for performance, power, and size constraints.
• Conduct system-level analysis and verification against requirements.
• Provide mentorship and contribute to the technical roadmap of the team.
• Coordinate hardware-software integration with broader system teams.
