Job summary

Analog Photonics LLC. is seeking a hands-on technical lead to architect, implement, verify, and bring up FPGA-based embedded control and DSP systems for LiDAR applications.

You will develop self-checking testbenches, simulations, and regression tests, troubleshoot issues, and prepare detailed design documentation. You should have 10+ years in FPGA development, SystemVerilog RTL, Vivado/Vitis with UltraScale+ devices, and strong hardware/software co-design skills.

Qualifications

• RTL design, simulation and implementation in SystemVerilog for FPGA embedded control and DSP.
• Experience with Vivado Tcl and GUI flows; UltraScale+ devices.
• Expertise in timing, timing closure, and clock-domain crossing.
• Understanding of DSP hardware architectures and FPGA/SoC co-design.
• Experience with Xilinx/AMD SoC-based systems and embedded software co-design.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; 10+ years FPGA experience with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, verify, and bring up FPGA-based control and DSP systems for LiDAR.
• Develop self-checking unit and system testbenches; run simulations and regressions.
• Troubleshoot design issues and document FPGA designs, registers, and user guides.
• Plan, prioritize, and communicate status and risks; participate in design reviews.
• Drive development activities to completion within aggressive project timelines.
