Job summary

Quantum Space seeks a Senior FP&A / Program Controller to partner with Program Management and Finance, bridging corporate planning and program-level performance. You will own budgeting, forecasting, EACs, and executive reporting for high-mobility spacecraft programs in a fast-growing aerospace environment.

Collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Contracts, and Leadership to translate program activity into actionable financial insights and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or program finance experience.
• Experience owning budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and KPIs across income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Ability to develop sophisticated financial models translating operational drivers into forecasts.
• Strong business partnership skills with non-finance leaders.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP/FP&A or enterprise reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for programs and areas.
• Translate program milestones, risks, and changes into financial impacts and forecasts.
• Develop program budgets, baselines, and financial performance targets.
• Own rolling forecasts for revenue, expenses, labor, capex, cash flow, and other drivers.
• Prepare and maintain EACs and ensure forecasts feed corporate plans.
• Analyze actuals vs budgets/forecasts and identify drivers, risks, and actions.
• Lead monthly/quarterly financial performance reviews for leadership.
• Develop scenarios to support strategic investment decisions and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate reporting and cost allocations.
• Support FP&A processes, reporting tools, and dashboards during growth.
