Job summary

Baltimore Banner is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner, FP&A to join our Finance team in Baltimore. You will support budgeting and forecasting, build financial models, review expenses and variances, and prepare reports for executives.

You’ll collaborate with department leaders, assist with month-end close, and contribute to Power BI dashboards and reporting. You will report to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and bring a strong financial background, excellent Excel skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Master’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• At least five years of relevant experience.
• Strong financial background with working knowledge of financial analytics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to establish priorities, manage competing responsibilities, and communicate with stakeholders to establish deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Moderate to advanced Power BI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budget planning.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to communicate the financial standing of the company to executives and other senior managers.
• Analyze and monitor expenses, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization. Provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency.
• Serve as a liaison to department managers to assist in making optimal short-term and long-term decisions to improve performance.
• Participate in the month-end close process, including variance analysis and expense reconciliation.
• Assist with the Power BI migration, including, but not limited to, building dashboards and maintaining data accuracy and security.
• Create ad hoc analyses and collaborate with executives and other senior managers as required.
