Job summary
The Orthodox Union (OU) is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for a large nonprofit organization. You will translate complex financial data into actionable insights for senior leaders and develop dashboards to support strategic decisions.
Strong Excel, Power BI, and NetSuite skills are highly valued, along with 7–10 years of FP&A or related experience in nonprofit settings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 7–10 years in FP&A, corporate finance, or related area.
- CPA/MBA/CFA or similar professional certification strongly preferred.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting skills.
- Experience in nonprofit, multi-entity environments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, liquidity forecasting, reforecasting, modeling, and long-range planning.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly analyses for management and the Board using historical data and trends.
- Develop management reporting packs, dashboards, and KPI dashboards for leadership.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, grants, program activity, and allocations.
- Standardize budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytics processes.
