Job summary

J T is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis to lead complex modeling, forecasting, cost and cash flow analyses, and executive presentations. This hands-on role requires independent judgment and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

The position reports to the Director of Finance and Data Analytics and collaborates with FP&A, BI, and broader Finance teams to support planning, reporting, and strategic analysis across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IS, or STEM required; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years in professional services FP&A.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, variance and profitability analyses.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills.
• Experience with BI tools and BI data sources.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently build and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, cost, cash flow, and rate analysis.
• Develop revenue forecasts incorporating trends, activity, staffing, and business drivers.
• Support growth analyses, including revenue, compensation, and profitability modeling.
• Prepare executive-ready analyses and presentations for leadership.
• Analyze hours, rates, realization, leverage, and market trends driving performance.
• Collaborate with BI and finance teams to leverage data sources and dashboards.
• Translate data into concise insights for planning, pricing, staffing, and strategy.
• Conduct detailed expense, headcount, and operating cost analyses for budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with annual budget, long-range planning, and variance analysis for leadership.
• Respond to ad hoc requests with clear framing, data gathering, and findings.
• Benchmark performance against internal and external data to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate in a flat team environment, driving workstreams with influence rather than authority.
