Job summary

Abbott in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Manager Financial Planning and Analysis to lead monthly accounting, planning and reporting, and provide financial guidance across operations.

You will oversee plans, LBE’s and LRP’s, ensure asset capitalization, and collaborate with IT (SAP) on finance systems, while developing staff and driving cross‑divisional projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 7 years in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Strong communication and ability to build consensus.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close, accounting, reporting and analysis.
• Development and support of Plans, LBE’s and LRP’s; consolidation activities.
• Ensure proper tracking of commitments and expenditures and capitalization of assets.
• Provide financial leadership and guidance to operations, including ROI/DCF and audit support.
• Collaborate with IT on finance systems (SAP).
• Establish internal controls and support SOX/compliance.
• Manage and develop staff; lead cross-divisional projects.
