Job summary

Avid Technology seeks an experienced FP&A leader to drive planning, forecasting, and lender/investor reporting in a PE-backed software environment. You will own budgeting, modeling, and the annual operating plan, partnering with senior leaders to translate data into strategic decisions.

You will direct the planning software administration, coordinate monthly closes, and mentor a small finance team. This role is central to delivering a living forecast connected to bookings, ARR, and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA/CPA preferred.
• 5+ years FP&A or investor-reporting in PE-backed or high-growth environments.
• Strong Excel modeling and data storytelling skills; experience with ERP/BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close calendar and tie results to the P&L and cash flow.
• Design, implement, and administer NetSuite Planning and Budgeting as the primary FP&A tool.
• Lead 1–2 analysts; mentor and develop junior finance team members.
• Build three-statement financial models and cash forecasting for lender/investor reporting.
