Job summary

RTX is seeking an FP&A Manager to lead financial planning and analysis for the Naval Systems & Sustainment unit within the Naval Power Strategic Business Unit. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for a growing portfolio.

The role involves leading budgeting processes, financial metrics communication, and collaboration with program managers and leaders to assess risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial planning and analysis, including forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Experience using business and accounting systems, such as SAP, APEX, PRISM, BW, or Rplan.
• Proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of financial planning and forecasting processes (AOP, LRP, monthly forecast).
• Analyze and communicate financial metrics—bookings, sales, profit, cash flow; identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with program managers, business managers, analysts and leads to validate risks/opportunities.
• Develop FP&A activities including balance sheet analysis, forecasting, investments, and cash flow analysis.
• Present financial information to PMO and leadership to support decisions.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in planning and reporting.
• Lead a team of 1-2 finance professionals with coaching and development.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with financial processes and government requirements.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested.
