Job summary

RTX Corporation in the United States is seeking an FP&A Manager to lead financial planning & analysis for the Naval Systems & Sustainment (NSS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit. You will coordinate with cross-functional leaders to support AOP, LRP, and monthly forecasts.

You will manage forecasting, balance sheet analysis, and cash flow, presenting insights to PMOs and leadership, while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Math, Finance, Accounting or related field; 8+ years experience or advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
Experience in financial planning and analysis, including forecasting and budgeting.
Experience with SAP, APEX, PRISM, BW, or Rplan.
Proficiency in MS Office products incl. Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Lead FP&A processes: AOP, LRP, and monthly forecasts.
Analyze bookings, sales, profit, and cash flow to identify risks/opportunities.
Collaborate with program managers, business managers, analysts, and leads.
Develop and manage balance sheet analysis, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
Present financial information to PMO and leadership for decision making.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Lead a team of 1-2 finance professionals; coaching and development.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with financial processes and government requirements.
Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
