Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an FP&A expert to drive planning, forecasting, and reporting across insurance portfolios. You will translate performance into actionable insights for leadership and collaborate with Controllership, Actuarial, Investments, and Operations to enhance financial intelligence.

Role emphasizes leveraging Power BI, Copilot, and other analytics tools to improve forecasting accuracy and decision support while maintaining close partnerships with business units and senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Six or more years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and financial modeling.
• Ability to analyze complex information, exercise sound judgment, and develop clear, supportable recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial information to senior leaders and non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Managing core FP&A operating rhythms, including the multi-year plan, annual budget, forecasts, income/cash flow pacing, and performance reporting across insurance product lines and legal entities.
• Define, monitor, and interpret financial and operational KPIs; analyze results, investigate variances, identify trends, and explain key drivers to management.
• Prepare and coordinate management reporting and executive-ready analysis, including forecast packages and capital-related analysis.
• Partner with Controllership, Actuarial, Investments, Operations, Technology, and other stakeholders to lead projects and improve financial insights.
• Provide depth in accounting, financial reporting, and FP&A; assess information quality and develop recommendations for complex issues.
• Support financial analysis across long-term care, structured settlements, variable annuities, and other insurance portfolios.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives to improve forecast accuracy, reporting efficiency, and controls.
• Contribute to Finance Transformation and future-state FP&A design by documenting requirements and translating objectives into capabilities.
• Identify and apply emerging technologies, including AI and Copilot, to improve forecasting and decision support.
