Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Sr Finance Manager – FP&A Operations to own budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the Niskayuna Aerospace Research site. You will partner with engineering and operations leaders to guide investments, headcount planning, and resource allocation.

You will drive continuous improvement, own P&E processes, and deliver actionable insights to senior leaders, balancing innovation with cost control and value realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant finance experience (FP&A, controllership, program finance, or related roles).
• Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the full annual budget process for the Niskayuna Aerospace Research site across headcount, OPEX, and capital expenditures (P&E).
• Lead forecasting, pacing, and monthly/quarterly reporting for key financial KPIs with clear analysis for leadership.
• Collaborate with GRC platform and engineering/finance teams to deliver robust program and platform insights.
