Job summary

Gecko Robotics is seeking an FP&A Manager to own financial planning, performance reporting, and investment guidance. You will partner with leaders to build forecasts, challenge assumptions, and provide actionable recommendations on growth, profitability, and cash needs.

This hands-on role supports a robotics, software, and field-operations business with no direct reports. You will lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and analyses for leadership and investors, while improving

Qualifications

• 7+ years of FP&A experience or equivalent in finance roles.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills with integrated statements.
• Solid understanding of bookings, revenue recognition, billing, and cash collection.
• Experience partnering with business leaders to challenge assumptions and communicate across audiences.
• Ability to work with incomplete data and manage deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and long-range plan with integrated model components.
• Forecast revenue, deployment schedules, and cash flow with business inputs and risk considerations.
• Lead monthly financial reviews, explain deviations from plan and drive actions.
• Analyze profitability by customer, contract, and offering including costs and utilization.
• Build scenarios to guide hiring, pricing, spending, and capital investments with ROI focus.
• Prepare financial analyses, KPI dashboards, and commentary for leadership, board, and investors.
• Coordinate with Accounting to reconcile results and improve planning tools and controls.
• Support VP Finance on fundraising activities, data room prep, and due diligence.
• Assist M&A through valuations and integration cost analysis.
