Job summary

AV is seeking an experienced Manager for Financial Analysis and Reporting to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the IOS Business Unit. The role partners with program managers and operations to drive financial performance and strategic alignment.

The candidate should have strong leadership, extensive Excel skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. A security clearance is required and the position resides in Maryland with a regular work schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 6–8 years of project control experience, or Master’s with 4 years.
• Experience managing a team of employees.
• Strong knowledge of federal contracting concepts and procedures as related to Accounting and Finance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts.
• Provide financial analysis and budgeting support for business planning.
• Communicate variances and observations to management.
• Partner with Program Managers, Contracts, and Operations to align finance with goals.
• Monitor headcount, FTEs, and spending to ensure budgets are met.
• Support month-end close and monthly reporting for IOS divisions.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts in a high-performance team environment.
• Review contract terms to ensure compliance with financial clauses and deadlines.
• Set up and maintain billable projects in Unanet ERP.
