LG Magna e-Powertrain USA, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a senior finance leader to drive business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.

The role focuses on risk analysis and executive reporting to support strategic decisions for the company and its leadership team. You will develop accurate financial models, strengthen reporting processes, and communicate business outlook to management, headquarters, and the parent company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of eight years of professional finance experience.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting, treasury and corporate finance, including variance analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and financial modeling, plus PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience with OLAP databases and preparing executive‑level reports and presentations.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to build accurate financial models and deliver clear presentations.
• Professional fluency in English, including strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and forecast financial, economic, and operational data for strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain short, medium, and long-term business plans and forecasts.
• Provide management with financial information and recommendations to enable timely decisions.
• Lead complex financial analysis projects and evaluate business plans.
• Manage budgeting, cash flow planning, and risk outlook activities.
• Identify improved methods for financial analysis, reporting, and presentations.
• Monitor revenue and expenditures; develop reports for projections and performance reviews.
• Maintain records of assets, liabilities, and financial transactions.
• Develop processes to capture and report financial performance per revenue policy.
• Collect and evaluate workforce metrics for talent-pool assessments and headcount planning.
• Review processes to improve KPI performance and organizational development.
• Prepare and deliver management presentations on operations and outlook.
• Communicate with headquarters and parent company about operations and performance.
