Job summary

Verint is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to be the primary finance partner for the Fraud & Security Solutions (FSS) business unit. You will deliver insightful global financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decisions, including forecasts, budgets, and monthly results for budget owners.

You will lead weekly bookings forecasts, annual budgets, and monthly forecasts, while partnering with BU and HR to manage headcount, inventory reserves, and commissions planning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with 4+ years FP&A experience.
• Strong understanding of P&L reporting and variances.
• 4-year college degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills, oral and written.
• Strong research and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work beyond normal business hours as needed.
• Ability to adapt to rapid change and think creatively.
• Strong time management and deadline-driven mindset.
• Background screening including employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification.
• Credit check for travel-related roles that require travel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly bookings forecasts with active deals throughout the quarter.
• Prepare annual budget and monthly forecasts for the FP&A org.
• Analyze actual monthly results vs budgets and update forecasts accordingly.
• Collaborate with BU leadership to align financial processes with product roadmap.
• Work with FSS supply chain to identify forecast and budget impacts.
• Review inventory and reserves for obsolete or slow-moving products.
• Manage headcount forecast and hiring plans with HR and business leaders.
• Prepare annual bookings and quota analysis to support commissions plans.
• Calculate monthly commissions payments for FSS employees and submit to payroll.
• Complete ad hoc analyses as required.

Overview of Job Function:

TheSeniorManager,FP&A willbethe primary finance partnerresponsible for managing efforts to supportthe Fraud & Security Solutions(FSS)business unit,working closely with senior cross-functional business leaders to provide insightful global financial business reporting and analysis to help drive strategic decisions. Areas of focus includefinancial reportingand analysis of global results, driving decisions that align with key business initiatives,managementof scheduled periodic forecasts and annual budgets,preparationand presentation ofmonthlyfinancial results to relevant budget owners.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit weekly bookings forecastssupported by active dealsthroughout the quarter. Present output to FSSsenior leadership prior to submission to Verint global leadership team.
• Prepare annual budget and monthly forecasts for the global FP&A organization.Work directly with FSS budget owners to gain an understanding of business requirements and identifyspecificrecommendations forchanges/improvementsbased on trends andcurrentbusiness initiatives.
• Analyzeactualmonthlyfinancial results compared toexistingbudgets and forecastsandwork with global accounting teams to record correcting entries where appropriate. Identify impacts of actual results on future periods and update the forecast appropriately. Present findings directly to FSS budget owners
• Work closely with the BU leadership teams to understand the product roadmap and ensure appropriate financial processes are in place to implement BU strategy aligned to that roadmap
• Work closely with the FSS supply chain organization to identify impacts on existing forecasts and future budgets
• Review inventory on hand and identify required reserves for obsolete and/or slow-moving products.
• Manage headcount forecast and hiring planvia frequent and consistent communication withHR andbusiness leaders
• Prepare annualbookings and quota analysis to support commissions plans for allquota-carrying FSS employees.
• Calculate monthly commissions payments for FSSemployees and submit to payroll.
• Complete various ad hoc analyses as required

Minimum Requirements:

• 8+year ofexperiencein Financeor Accounting, with4+ years ofFP&A experienceworking directly with key decisions makers within the business
• Strong understanding of P&L reportingand experience researching/investigating key variances in financial results vs expectations
• 4-yearcollege degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills, oral and written
• Strong research andproblem-solvingskills
• Sound work ethic withflexibility to work beyond normal business hoursas needed
• Ability to adapt to rapid changeand think creatively
• Strong time management skills with the demonstrated ability to meet deadlinesand detail oriented
• Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC andSocial Security verification
• Successful completion of a credit check necessary for those travel-related roles that will require the candidate to obtain the appropriate credit line required to travel

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with Oracle,Hyperionand/or Anaplan
• Cost Accounting background
