Job summary

MacKay is seeking a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist to join our Vancouver, WA team. You will bridge financial data and strategy, lead budgeting and forecasting, and deliver dashboards and insights for decision-making.

You will partner with leaders across functions, develop financial models, and drive performance improvements while leveraging technology to enhance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5-10 years of progressive FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, or corporate finance.
• Proven ability to lead FP&A initiatives and partner with leadership to drive business strategy.
• Exceptional financial analysis with ability to interpret data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel with experience using FP&A tools such as Vareto or Workday.
• Experience implementing a budget and forecast platform.
• Cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities.
• Prepare timely financial statements, KPIs, and dashboards for leadership.
• Deliver clear financial presentations and report packages for executives and board.
• Monitor performance; identify trends, risks, and opportunities with root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for growth initiatives.
• Advise leaders to align financial objectives with business strategy.
• Enhance planning processes using technology and best practices.
• Collaborate with departments to optimize resource allocation.
