Job summary

iicrc-careers is seeking a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to lead the company-wide FP&A function. You will collaborate with the CFO and COO, drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis across five geographic markets, and translate data into strategic insights to boost profitability and growth.

You will transform financial and operational data, develop scalable processes, and explore AI/automation opportunities to improve efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience.
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks for financial reporting and data extraction.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, incl. complex models, Power Query, pivot tables, dashboards.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of GAAP financial statements.
• Experience supporting multi-location or multi-business-unit organizations.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to present financial information clearly to operational leaders.
• Familiarity with AI tools, data analytics platforms, or automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process for all five markets.
• Develop and maintain rolling monthly and quarterly forecasts.
• Prepare and manage the company’s three-year financial plan.
• Coordinate budget submissions from each market and ensure consistency across assumptions.
• Work with the CFO and COO to establish revenue, margin, labor, overhead, and capex targets.
• Develop scenario analyses including Base Case, Best Case, Downside Case, and sensitivity analyses.
• Utilize AI-driven forecasting tools to enhance predictive accuracy.
• Update forecasts as market conditions change.
• Develop and deliver timely financial reporting packages and executive dashboards.
• Analyze performance across markets, divisions, customers, service lines, and projects.
• Monitor KPIs including revenue, profitability, cash flow, and working capital.
• Provide actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Establish KPIs that align financials with operations.
