Job summary

Transamerica, part of Aegon, seeks an experienced FP&A professional to lead advanced financial analyses and reporting for the U.S. GAAP, statutory, capital, and management reporting.

You will drive automation, data governance, and scalable analytics while collaborating with FP&A, Actuarial, Capital Management, Investments, and Technology teams. The role requires strong proficiency in Power BI, AWS data solutions, and finance transformation, with a focus on delivering actionable insights and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• Ten years of financial analysis experience in insurance, financial services or investment management.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting/finance and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and financial business systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial performance, trends, risks, and opportunities and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Develop forecasts, scenario analyses, management reporting, and performance metrics to support planning and decisions.
• Maintain effective financial controls, governance, documentation, and compliance processes; identify and resolve data or reporting issues.
• Develop executive dashboards, management reporting, and self‑service analytics using Power BI and other tools.
