Job summary

Global Payments seeks an experienced finance leader to drive annual budgeting, long-range planning, and forecasting. You will develop financial models, lead performance analysis, and partner with executives to inform resource allocation and strategic investments.

You will enhance reporting, KPIs, and variance explanations, delivering concise insights for executives and the board, while aligning finance with enterprise planning and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Seven or more years of progressive finance experience, including significant experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to lead budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial modeling activities.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and experience working with enterprise planning, ERP, and business-intelligence tools.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, management accounting, and key business drivers.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and influence stakeholders across functions and levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget, long-range planning, and periodic forecasting processes including timelines, assumptions, templates, and management reviews.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting with variance analysis, KPIs, trend analysis, and actionable commentary.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate performance, clarify financial implications, and support resource allocation and investment decisions.
• Develop and maintain integrated financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for strategic initiatives.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, quantify potential impacts, and recommend practical actions.
• Improve forecast accuracy, reporting efficiency, and data quality through standardization and automation.
• Support executive and board-level materials with concise, decision-oriented financial insights.
• Collaborate with Accounting to ensure actual results, accruals, and management reporting accuracy.
• Establish consistent performance-management practices and maintain clear documentation of assumptions and methodologies.
