Job summary

Medtronic is hiring a Financial Consultant for the Global Commercial Office (GCO) FP&A team in Fridley, MN. This onsite role supports revenue forecasting, financial planning, scenario modeling, and performance analysis to drive profitable growth.

You’ll work with cross-functional partners to translate data into actionable recommendations and present insights to executives. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and modeling skills with business acumen and superb communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in Finance or Accounting, or an advanced degree with 8+ years.
• Experience in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
• Proven ability to build financial models and executive-level presentations.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision support.
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue forecasting activities, including monthly outlooks and annual planning.
• Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for strategic decisions.
• Translate financial data into concise executive communications and materials.
• Collaborate with Finance and business teams to align assumptions and drive performance.
• Identify risks/opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
