Optum is seeking a Senior Financial Consultant to serve as a finance liaison, driving forecasting, long-range modeling, earnings, and close processes with senior leadership. You will partner with FP&A, Controllership, and corporate teams to strengthen financial storytelling and operational insight.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, stakeholder communication, and process improvements, with a four-day-in-office schedule for MN-based candidates.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 3+ years in financial modeling, analysis and forecasting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Essbase and/or SmartView experience.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Responsabilités

• Consolidate forecast and long-range model with stakeholders.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and Excel materials for leadership.
• Own forecast, long-range model, earnings and close data packs.
• Act as financial reporting conduit between data management and FP&A teams.
• Partner with VBC and SG&A to streamline reporting.
• Drive FP&A process improvements using AI and data tools.
• Communicate effectively to build stakeholder relationships.
