Job summary

Goosehead Insurance is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and performance management. You will own planning processes, partner with executives, and scale FP&A insights and tools across the organization.

The role requires 10+ years in FP&A or related roles, strong modeling and data skills (SQL, Power BI/Tableau), and proven leadership in a high-growth environment. Excellent communication and strategic partnering are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
Experience building and leading FP&A teams; private equity-backed environment preferred.
Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and long-range planning; advanced Excel.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with large datasets and BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise-wide FP&A planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes.
Partner with executives to align financial plans with strategic priorities and headcount investments.
Deliver timely reporting, dashboards, and financial models for decision-making.
Develop and mentor FP&A managers and analysts to build a high-performing team.
