Preferred Mutual Insurance Company seeks a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to provide actionable insights through advanced modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Reporting to the SVP/CFO, this role translates complex data into decision-ready information for the Senior Executive Team and Board for informed long-term decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/advanced degree preferred.
• CPA/CFA/FP&A designations preferred; related certifications valued.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance, including FP&A or strategic finance.
• 5+ years of leadership experience; insurance/financial services experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools (Tableau/Power BI); familiarity with AI tools is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Develop, monitor, and refine KPI dashboards aligned to mutual insurance model including profitability, productivity, loss ratio, and expense ratio trends.
• Develop and maintain financial models projecting premiums, losses, surplus, and operating performance under various scenarios.
• Lead and define the financial forecasting process aligned with corporate strategy and enterprise objectives.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages to executives and the Board; explain variances and suggest course corrections.
• Drive reporting modernization by implementing data visualization, automation, and BI/AI tools to accelerate timelines.
