Job summary

Trace3 is seeking a Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead the FP&A function and partner with executive leadership. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic modeling with a focus on data‑driven insights.

The role requires a strong background in accounting or finance and substantial leadership experience. You will manage a team of FP&A professionals, coordinate with the CEO and CFO, and provide financial insights to support growth and efficiency acrossTrace3’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related major.
• Minimum 10 years in financial analysis or accounting with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Advanced Excel skills; NetSuite experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, both written and oral.
• Proven ability to build and lead a high‑performing FP&A team in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to translate data into strategic business insights.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop the annual budget across all departments.
• Prepare materials for monthly leadership reviews and board meetings; support CEO and CFO.
• Model strategic initiatives with complex financial analyses.
• Lead monthly P&L variance analyses and provide executive commentary.
• Ensure timely month‑end close for consolidated results.
• Collaborate with business leaders to drive financial insights and operational efficiency.
• Serve as strategic advisor to senior leadership on performance, risks and opportunities.
• Oversee reporting for merger and acquisition activity and manage FP&A team.
