Job summary

Trace3 is seeking a Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead the FP&A function, partner with executive leadership, and guide strategic decisions through robust planning and analytics. The role requires 10+ years in accounting/finance with management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related major.
• 10+ years of financial analysis or accounting experience.
• 5+ years leading a high-performing team.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; NetSuite experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills linking data to business outcomes.
• Proven ability to lead in a largely remote environment.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to prioritize in fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, consultative with partners’ needs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in entrepreneurial setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop annual budgets across all departments.
• Prepare materials for monthly leadership reviews and Board meetings.
• Support strategic initiatives with complex financial models.
• Lead monthly P&L variance analysis and executive commentary.
• Ensure timely month-end close for consolidated results.
• Provide financial insights to drive operational efficiency.
• Serve as strategic advisor to senior leadership on performance and risks.
• Support reporting for mergers and acquisitions.
