Job summary

The Senior Director, Financial Planning and Analysis at Trace3 will lead the FP&A function, partnering with executive leadership to drive strategic planning, reporting and analytics. With 10+ years in accounting or finance, you will shape budgets and financial insights across the company.

Based in Irvine, CA with a largely remote environment, you will manage a team of analysts and collaborate with business leaders to improve performance and inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting.
• Experience leading a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop the annual budget across all departments.
• Prepare materials for leadership reviews and quarterly Board and lender meetings; support the CEO and CFO.
• Support strategic initiatives with ad hoc modeling requiring in-depth understanding of the business.
• Lead monthly P&L variance analysis and data-driven analytics with executive commentary.
• Work with accounting to ensure timely month-end close for consolidated results.
• Collaborate with business leaders to provide financial insights and drive operational efficiency.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Support reporting for and integration of merger and acquisition activity.
• Manage a team of FP&A professionals including analysts and managers.
