Job summary

symplr is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A organization. You will integrate revenue and operating plans across multiple functional models into a consolidated company view and provide actionable financial insights for executives.

The role requires 5+ years in FP&A, strong modeling, and the ability to partner with Product, Professional Services, and Accounting. The position focuses on consolidations, scenario analysis, and robust governance of financial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, financial modeling, or related analytical role.
• Experience building or maintaining consolidated P&L forecasts and financial models.
• Experience consolidating inputs from multiple functions, business units, or operating models.
• Experience supporting annual budgets, rolling forecasts, long-range plans, and scenario planning.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the company's consolidated financial model across revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and EBITDA.
• Partner with FBP teams to consolidate functional forecasts including revenue, Professional Services, Product labor, and other operating models.
• Maintain links and reconciliations among functional models and the consolidated P&L; collaborate with Accounting to resolve differences.
• Evaluate plans for internal consistency, identify dependencies, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses translating driver changes into actionable outcomes.
• Support Monthly Reporting Package and executive reporting with validated outputs and KPIs.
• Analyze department variances and connect explanations to consolidated financial impacts.
• Support FP&A for budgeting, forecasting, headcount, and business cases; provide ad hoc support.
• Document consolidation logic, governance standards, and automate recurring processes.
