Job summary

Shearer’s Foods, a leading snack manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst of FP&A for the Supply Chain at the Phoenix Plant in Phoenix, AZ. You will support plant finance, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives within the Finance Team.

You will partner with multiple business areas, influence decisions at upper levels, and develop automated tools to improve profitability across locations. In-person days required at the Phoenix plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business major preferred.
• 3-6 years of relevant finance experience (cost accounting, analytics or strategic business consulting preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all management levels.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead and collaborate in a team environment.
• Flexibility to coordinate special projects and meet deadlines.
• Advanced Excel capabilities; proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Flexible work schedule to meet deadlines.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide plant management financial support by analyzing variance drivers, profitability and data accuracy.
• Coach plant teams and business partners to develop financial acumen for daily and long-term decisions.
• Develop and maintain analytical tools using data to identify opportunities across locations.
• Create and distribute reports and scorecards to management for strategic planning.
• Handle monthly Finance close activities and journal entries for supporting sites.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and operational planning.
• Support executives on business acquisitions, dispositions and startup plans.
• Develop automated models or charts to increase productivity and eliminate duplications.
• Drive productivity and profit through cross-functional collaboration on product base.
