Municipal Credit Union seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Financial Planning & Analysis team in New York. You will partner with the Director, FP&A and business leaders to build financial models, forecast performance, and deliver insightful management reporting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, process improvements, and data-driven decision support. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in FP&A or related finance roles, strong Excel and analytics skills, and the ability to communicate complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• MBA, CPA, CMA or related certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or related analytical finance roles.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, profitability analysis and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic financial planning and analysis activities.
• Prepare and maintain financial models for forecasting, scenario analysis and profitability analysis.
• Consolidate inputs and analyze profit and loss, cash flow and balance sheet impacts.
• Develop management reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Ensure data integrity and support decision-making with variance analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand financial drivers.
