Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with executive and finance leadership. You will develop models and reporting mechanisms that provide financial insights to executive and finance leadership as well as support budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A consolidations.

This role requires 4-6 years of related business or retail experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and BI tools. It is a normal office position in Brentwood, TN.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4-6 years of related business or retail experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate business-related field of study.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support to leadership across Finance, Merchandising, and Marketing by analyzing performance and developing actionable recommendations.
• Evaluate promotions, marketing events, seasonal initiatives, and merchandising programs for ROI and profitability across stores and geographies.
• Prepare and communicate recurring sales, gross margin, and financial forecasts; compare actuals to forecast and budget; identify risks and opportunities.
• Perform complex research and analysis of sales trends, customer behavior, and external drivers to inform forecasts.
• Prepare and present period-end analyses on initiatives such as Big Ticket, Private Label, Inventory Valuation, and Direct Imports.
• Conduct and present special financial studies coordinating with other departments.
• Support annual strategic planning and budgeting by developing assumptions with business partners.
