Job summary

American Airlines in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team. You will support operating budgets, build forecasting models, and provide insights to senior management, including the Board, on financial performance.

Collaborate with division controllers and planning teams, prepare materials for earnings calls, and deliver accurate analyses to drive KPIs and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, Accounting, Financial Services or Consulting, including advanced financial modeling and analysis

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to senior executive team and Board regarding financial performance and near-term outlook
• Maintain and enhance forecasting models to improve accuracy and relevance
• Collaborate with Division Controllers and Commercial Planning teams to maintain forecast accuracy and drive KPIs
• Prepare detailed cause-and-effect analyses for senior management on complex financial matters
• Prepare materials for earnings calls and Board of Directors meetings
