Job summary

Vaco has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced FP&A Consultant to provide interim support during a finance leadership transition. The role focuses on forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis to support the new reporting requirements following an acquisition.

Location: Tempe, AZ (Hybrid). Pay rate: $55–$60 per hour. Project duration: 3–6 months. Hours: ~16 per week. Start date: ASAP. Must be local to the Phoenix area and able to be onsite occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• 5+ years FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience
• Manufacturing industry experience required
• Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modeling capabilities
• Must be local to the Phoenix area and able to be onsite occasionally

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a weekly 13-week cash flow forecast for reporting to the parent company
• Support monthly close activities and financial reporting requirements
• Perform budget-to-actual analysis and identify key business drivers
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations during a period of organizational transition

The company was recently acquired by a public company and is navigating new reporting requirements, creating an immediate need for a hands‑on finance professional who can support forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis efforts.

Job Title: FP&A Consultant (Part-Time)
Location: Tempe, AZ (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $55 - $60 per hour
Project Duration: 3-6 months
Hours: Approximately 16 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
