Job summary

Comfrt is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis across our fast-growing DTC business. This role is ideal for a highly analytical, hands-on finance professional with strong FP&A capabilities and solid accounting fundamentals.

Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this person will drive monthly forecasts, annual budgets, variance analyses, and P&L reporting while collaborating with Accounting and cross-functional teams to ensure

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and understanding of financial statements.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills with large datasets.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and BI tools (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Looker, Tableau).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to summarize financial findings clearly.
• Experience in ecommerce/retail/consumer products or high-growth DTC environment.
• Detail-oriented and proactive; able to work independently.
• Analytical and curious; understand the story behind the numbers.
• Collaborative across Finance, Accounting, and other functions.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly forecasts, annual budget schedules, and supporting analyses.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting and analyze results against forecast, budget, and prior year.
• Perform variance analysis, explain drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Maintain financial models, reporting schedules, and supporting analyses.
• Review general ledger activity and investigate discrepancies with Accounting.
• Maintain department-level expense tracking and forecasts with cross-functional inputs.
• Prepare P&L, KPI, and management reporting with commentary on drivers.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling.
• Identify opportunities to improve FP&A reporting and processes.
